How to view persons names in pics?

I named individual people in a pic in Photo, but when I export it their names do not appear when I move the cursor over their face. Is there a way to do this?

Hi

To see it in photos app, then

View>show face names:

But this is shown overlayed by the photos app. It is not embedded in the image in exported pictures.

It is embedded in the IPTC metadata, and can be viewed in the inspector in preview app. (hidden by red bar in screenshot)
