My current iTunes account email is a different one from my appleid. How do I merge or change my iTunes account’s email?

I would like to change the email associated to my iTunes account, which is different from my appleid. I can’t seem to get around it.

Is this possible? I do not want to lose my purchases from my iTunes account. Is a “transfer” possible if I can’t change the email.

You can't merge Apple IDs. You can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
