Does MacBook use battery when plugged into power and powering monitor?

Hello, I have a 2020 MacBook Air M1. When I have the computer plugged in when it’s fully charged and it’s mirroring to a monitor and an AKAI music keyboard, is the battery in use, or is it powering the monitor and keyboard off of the power supply it can use from being plugged in and at 100% charge thus not needing to use the battery?
