two apple id's iwatch keeping asking for second one every day

Have an old legacy Apple ID that my watch keeps asking me to log in every day. It will not accept the true password that I can log into that device on my computer with. I do not use that ID regularly and it probably has legacy apps I purchased with that ID years ago that wants to update. How can I resolve getting this prompt everyday on my watch. I have learned I cannot have two ID's associated with a device but do not how to resolve this situation. It is very annoying to have to dismiss this everyday. I am pretty sure that my watch is associated with my regular ID I use all the time.

One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. After deleting the apps, it may be necessary to restart the device/computer before you can download the apps again. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
