My wife's name is going on any new devices' name added to my iPhone 11.

Every time I add a new device to my iPhone 11, my wife's name gets put on it. For example, I paired my iPhone with Beats Solo Pro headphones. Now they are referred to as Teri's Solo Pro. Why isn't it saying Mike's Solo Pro? How do I fix it? Where is it picking up my wife's name?

Yes, your action on what you found in Contacts solved your issue.

Are both of you using the same ID for your iPhone? If you are then you may have solved your device name issue however may end up sharing some other data. If that is the case and both of you want it that way that there are no more issues. If both of you are NOT sharing the same Apple ID then ignore this response.

Have a great day and you are welcome.

This is because you and your wife are probably using the same Apple ID on both of your iPhones. If both of you are using the same Apple ID then you should use separate Apple IDs and look into ➔ Family Sharing.

If, for any reason, both of you wish to continue to use the same Apple ID then you can still change the name of the Beats Solo Pro headphones by connecting them to your iPhone via bluetooth and then opening Settings ➔ Bluetooth: Here locate your Beats headphones and tap on the "i" which is circled in blue to the right. Then choose Name and change the device's name.
