Dolby Atmos w/HomePod Issue

I have the 1st Generation HomePod along with Apple TV4K (not the latest edition). I have the HomePod acting as the TV's main speaker and under the settings Dolby Atmos is set to automatic. When I select a atmos playlist to listen to, I'm getting the logo showing that's it's playing the songs in that format. The problem is that every other songs is silence. The 1st track plays perfectly, then the next is silence. The song is playing because the lyrics continue along with the track time. Once that song ends, the next song plays normally and then it just repeats. Anyone have any guesses on what the issue might be? thanks in advance for any help provided.
