new iMac can't delete guest user

When i turned on the iMac, I had two users that were there via system preferences, one was a guest and the other had some unintelligible labelling. I was able to remove that one but the guest account I cannot remove as the minus is greyed out. Ideas welcome.

iMac 24″, macOS 11.4

The "Allow User to administer this computer" does not allow me to click on it And the Guest User can not be deleted 1/. Click the lock in the lower left and enter your admin password to unlock the Users & Groups preferences panel.

Click the Guest User account icon on the left.

Uncheck "Allow guests to login to this computer."

You can't delete the Guest User. You can only disable it.
