iphone (SE 2nd gen) says Virgin Mobile QR coade is no longer valid. Hence, have not been able to move my SIM from Q5 as an eSIM to SE. Note that I have the required confirmation code from Virgin. Any ideas how to get iPhone to respond?

Hello RedQ5-RedSE,

We understand that you're experiencing an issue setting up eSIM, and we want to help.

"iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and later feature Dual SIM with a nano-SIM and an eSIM. An eSIM is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan from your carrier without having to use a physical nano-SIM."

Just to confirm, did you have a chance to go through the steps outlined in the "If you can't set up your eSIM" part of the link you came from? If so, did those steps seem to improve the issue at all?

Are you using the steps outlined in the "Scan a QR code" section of the following page to scan the QR code your carrier provided? Using Dual SIM with an eSIM

Thank you!

After all this, I think I’ve decided to get a physical SIM.  Not sure of the privacy issues around eSIM now.  At least with the physical SIM I can remove it and thereby disconnect.  With eSIM perhaps there is perpetual tracking by who knows Who!!!

No big deal.  My beautiful Blackberry Q5 works as a phone and MUCH more convenient keyboard for

texts.  Yes, the camera in the iPhone is better.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, Brittany.
