Make sure that the Mute switch on the side of the phone is turned to ring. If the switch is up towards the front screen and no color is showing in the switch, Mute is off. If towards the back and you see orange color, Mute is on. If Mute is off and you are not hearing a ring, check Settings>Sounds & Haptics and make sure you have a ringtone selected and the volume is turned up.
