I tried to delete TikTok account but it says Continue via joint Apple account. Can you pls help what to do

My daughter had a TikTok account. I now want to delete it as it contains some content we want to remove. We deleted TikTok application from her iPad. But now cannot delete her account. She registered via Apple (using her iCloud e-mail, pass) to TikTok via web and tried to delete her account by finding her main profile on the list (searched for it) it there but TikTok asks to continue via a joint Apple account to delete it. Can you pls help ?

We understand you are trying to delete a third party account that was cerated using Sign in with Apple.


When using this feature to create an account with a third party, users are given the option to hide their email address from the developer to increase privacy. If this option was chosen, the app developer will not have the actual iCloud.com email but instead a randomly generated email identifier which forwards to her iCloud.com account. In order to sign in with TikTok, you may need this app-specific email address.


Manage the apps that you use with Sign in with Apple


You can use the instructions in the above article to view the apps using her Apple ID, and to determine if TikTok has her actual iCloud.com email or a generic email. Based on the instructions on TikTok's website, you may need to download the app and sign-in in order to delete the account, then you can delete the app again.
