Can I download a movie for offline watching if I'm using the free trial of a channel? In my case I'd like to watch a movie on the Paramount+ channel.

Yes, the free trial has exactly the same features and possibilities, including downloads.

Your download won’t be valid beyond the active subscription obviously.
