I am no longer receiving notifications from Venmo app on my Apple Watch. Can anyone help please? I don’t have the app any longer on my watch and I didn’t delete it.

Apple Watch app - push notifications but I don’t use it! I do NOT have an Apple Watch — anymore. I had one years ago. My iPhone randomly pushes a notification to the forefront of my screen insisting that I need to update my Apple Watch app — which I do not use. I dismiss it and it returns again days later. I have also tried updating the app, which does not work. How do I get rid of this annoying notification?

Thanks but this did not solve the issue. I have notifications on for Venmo on my watch but the app icon is not showing on the watch.

Try deleting and reinstalling the app from the app store.
