Safari link YouTube kids

Hi

Since downloading YouTube Kids for my son, when browsing on safari, if a page has a YouTube link, it comes up with a message ‘Oops, try watching this video in YouTube Kids’.

Said link then doesn’t open in YouTube Kids.

I can’t work out how to set it to open in standard YouTube.

Could someone help me please?

Thanks.

Hi there Tonypink,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like when you try to watch a YouTube app in Safari it is giving you an error to try watching in YouTube Kids. Do you have the regular YouTube app downloaded? If not, try downloading it and playing your video again. If the issue continues, reach out to YouTube support. This is their help page: YouTube Help.

We hope this helps!
