iPad 8 no sound indicates headphones

My iPad 8 has started to not reproduce sound. It indicates external speakers, yet there are none connected (nor Bluetooth, nor plug in). I can connect loudspeaker or headphones and it works correctly. But, how tell it to use built in speakers?
