Hi,
How can I set the audio output to 5.1 on the MacBook Air(2020) M1, on Big Sur OS? I'm trying to watch some AppleTV Series, but the Mac sends stereo sound only to the AV Receiver through the HDMI port of the USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter.

None of the links you provided helped me to figure out how to do this, but I found the Audio MIDI Setup within Utilites which looks like the settings I need to make this work.
