Absolutely yes.


The power adaptor doesn’t “push” power; it only supplies the power “drawn” by the device.


Restated: While your adaptor can supply “up to” 61W; it can just as easily supply 1W.


Your device - along w/ the cable - determine how much power is actually drawn from the adaptor and at what voltage.
