Apple tv

How do I reset my appletv 3rd generation box without the original remote ? I recently moved and my appletv box lost the remote it came with when I bought it . Now I can't no how to fix it ....I have a Note 20 Ultra and I don't have a iPhone...what can I do to make things right .....the original remote is missing and I cannot do anything with the box ....WHY...????

How to reset an old AppleTV 4k with a new remote? I had to factory reset my 2018ish AppleTV 4k, but all I have is the newest remote. Bought the new remote a few months ago and threw the original one away (oops). But now, after resetting and updating it, the AppleTV seems to only want the old remote. On the initial setup screen, it's saying "Press the MENU button" which of course is no longer a thing. No combination of button presses gets any response. I tried holding the remote directly in front of the AppleTV in case it defaulted to IR rather than RF. I also tried getting to the AppleTV from the TV Remote app in my iPhone; nothing. Any advice? I'd really rather this thing not be a paperweight until the new ones come out later this year. My only other course of action is "find an old remote on eBay and buy it," but I wondered if there was a known workaround.

apple tv classic remote lost and can set up how can i fix this i lost a brand new remote for an apple tv classic that i set up it. now it doesn't want me to set up my phone or to reset it with my mac. (doesn't show up in the side bar.

apple tv remote I just ordered a new remote (old one got lost) I synced it as told. Apple tv box flashed when I press any button , but the screen won't change. I've tried unplugging, still no help. Any suggestions?

You can buy a replacement remote from Apple or other resellers.
