Dock icons disappear after stop mirroring

For some days now every time I disconnect an external monitor or stop mirroring, some of the dock icons disappear. I can select them but I do not see the icons. Once I connect my MacBook air again to a monitor or if I do screen mirroring they reappear.

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

If it happens in safe mode as well, try reinstalling macOS: How to reinstall macOS
