How do I move my iTunes library from my laptop to Apple music on my mini iPad?

My library includes music ripped from vinyl and CD's, not just purchased music,

If you have a subscription to Apple Music or iTunes Match, you can use cloud syncing. If not, you can connect the iPad to the computer via USB and sync all or part of your library:

Yes, if you have a subscription, cloud syncing is usually the easiest:

Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support
