M1 Mac mini not showing full display of 5120x1440 60hz for Samsung 49inch CRG9

M1 Mac mini is only showing 3840x1080 resolution on my CRG9 ultra wide monitor. I saw some forums stating that Big Sur 11.2 has solved the issue but that's not the case for me as I had Big Sur 11.4.

Later I upgraded to 11.5 Beta and tried with SwitchResX as well and that too is not showing the option for 5120x1440.

Can you please help?

Thanks.

The 2020 M1 Mac Mini's HDMI port only supports up to 4K Displays from the HDMI port.

I don't have that display to test, but I'm pretty sure that you are going to need either a high-res. USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to DisplayPort cable to get higher resolutions with that display.
