Outlook.com works slowly on Safari

I have started to experience problems with Outlook webpage whereby any attempt to read / scroll / move messages or basically doing anything in Outlook has become painfully slow. I've looked at numerous posts but cannot ascertain exactly what the issue is and how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

Notice: it's Outlook webpage, not app. Thanks
