Accessory keyboard not working properly

I have been using my Zagg keyboard with my iPad successfully for years. Suddenly, it will not work properly when I am in Pages. Some keys don’t work at all (space bar, arrow keys, etc.), and if I try to use them, my document closes. (The keyboard works fine here, and when using mail.)
