app specific autocorrect

Is there a way to turn OFF autocorrect for individual apps? If so, how?


If not, let’s get cracking.


using iPhone with apps to search medications or to text between healthcare colleagues is nearly unusable due to autocorrect changing things like femur to friends, zofran to softly, etc.


please help. To my info rant mind, seems fairly straightforward.

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We see that Auto-Correction is changing words that you don't want changed, and we'd like to help.


If individual apps don't offer their own settings for Auto-Correction, see if you can set up a text replacement, instead. On an iPhone, that's located in Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement. Here's a visual guide:
