Whatsapp calls are registered as missed call alerts 80-85% times

I have been using iPhone since 6 yrs. but for last 1 and a half years my mostly WhatsApp calls are registered as missed calls alert. I generally am dependent on my WhatsApp calls only. And this issue is creating a big fuss into my life. Just because of this issue I changed my last iPhone X to iPhone 12pro thinking this will solve the issue once and for all. But alas! What did Whatsapp or their support site say when you contact them about your dislike of missed call being shown in phone app?
