Front camera on new iPad Pro super grainy

Hi folks, I just got a new iPad Pro and the front camera produces really grainy photos. There’s no protective film over the camera and it’s clean (just unboxed it today). I’ve attached a picture as an example. Any idea what’s going on here?

Wow! An hour into unboxing and I’m completely disappointed and ashamed of Apple for allowing such a poor quality camera to be allowed on their pro product. I will probably spend the next days considering returning my iPad and the next several years hesitant to buy apple with the confidence I once had that they were the crème de la crème of such technology. This is NOT acceptable.

The camera is unfortunately garbage that Apple has decided to use on its premium product. Folks can label it how they want and help the company justify its product but it is what is…garbage. The Apple community perspective has been that Apple provides premium product quality without fail only now it has failed and the community is left high and dry with their decision to trust Apples reputation. My prime example of this failure is to compare the iPhone 11s camera from 2 years ago to the new iPad Pro. Weather it’s a difference in software or hardware it’s a failure that will sit with the community.

Ya so I just bought this yesterday, the “Pro Max” best in the house with all the upgrades. It’s going back today. I spent all night looking to see what the heck setting was making this look like it’s from a 2MP camera. Anyway there’s nothing you can change; it’s a flaw that I am glad I found on day 2 and before I got very attached to this otherwise incredible machine.

I just bought the 2022 fully loaded iPad Pro for the purpose of filming content because I thought the quality would blow away my current iPhone and instead it might as well be 4s quality. So it’s definitely not just a 2021 issue. And I definitely changed all camera settings to the highest resolution but it’s a lie😅. It’s pretty lame because as you know it’s not cheap but the quality is just not there. Luckily I use my iPad for other things but it’s pretty strange and frankly unacceptable for apple to be putting out anything but flawless products especially if they cost thousands of dollars.

So the person I went to actually agreed with me, the camera is not a good quality. I am an artist and I wanted this specifically to do some work in Procreate, I really enjoy drawing on the tablet and my previous lasted my entire way through art school until it sadly quit for good. But I would rather wait until the next iPad to see if this is issue is fixed. Instead I bought myself an iPhone as I don't have a cell phone. I'm not really into that kind of communication so I've really not paid much mind to cell phones but it's come to the point that my life is an absolute pain in the A without one. So I caved. The camera is surprisingly better. I have no idea what to make of this company sometimes.
