Apple Music on macos Big Sur 11.4 randomly skipping songs
I've recently switched to Apple Music on macos Big Sur 11.4 and subscribe to Apple Music. I'm using a late-2015 iMac 27 5K.
I've synched with icloud music. I've downloaded and in some cases re-downloaded albums in higher quality. Some play fine but recently some have been randomly skipping some or all songs. This is, to put it mildly, extremely frustrating. For example, I'll play the first track of an album, then it will skip tracks 2-4 and go to 5. Or it will skip every song on the album, track-by-track, and not play anything! It's so inconsistent and random that it's hard to troubleshoot.
Another issue, while I'm at it, is that songs often freeze when they're about to start. So you have to double click the song again to play it, even though it's in the up next queue. This is also weird and seems like a bug that needs to be fixed urgently.
