Thunderbolt3 daisy chain

I have a 2019 13" Macbook Pro. I just purchased two Asus ProArt Displays (PA247CV) with USB-C connectors and displayport in/out for daisy chaining.

I have my macbook attached to the first monitor via USB-C and everything is working perfectly. I'm getting power and my display has extended across that monitor. I have the second monitor connected via displayport out (MST) to displayport in on the second monitor. The second monitor is blank and not recognizing the displayport input.

Any suggestions? Is what I'm trying to do possible?
