How do I take the two-step verification code off it’s happening for anything that has to do with Apple ID I fell upon it. Like it even ask me that to download an application even asking for a say if payment after the authorization in the App Store.

Two-factor authentication is enabled by default on new Apple IDs and cannot be turned off.
If you have an old account and recently activated Two Factor Authentication note this section of an Apple support article:
