What is the main difference between the GPS, and GPS + Cellular?
cellular mean it can operate on the cellular phone network on it's own like an iphone
so they are the same when within range of ones iphone and when not only the cellular model can access the internet and or make calls

The Apple Watch with cellular can make phone calls without your iPhone being connected via BlueTooth and completely on its own. In contrast, the other version cannot.
