MONITOR AIRPLAY

HI! I'm trying to use my iPad with my MacBook Air as Sidecar but it says on the MacBook that my Monitor Airplay is inactive. Does anybody knows how to turn it on?

I always used the iPad in Sidecar mode without any problems, so this is new for me, thank you!/Users/arianna/Desktop/Schermata 2021-06-23 alle 18.00.22.png
