Apple Watch auto-detect end of outdoor walk when starting driving

Of course I should be diligent and remember to end my outdoor walk - however as often as not I just jump in the car but the watch app seems to think 50 mph after just 3mph is an outdoor walk.

Thought Apple developers were smarter than that Duh!

Apple Watch Detecting Walking I just got my series 8 Apple Watch yesterday. It didn't recognize I was taking a walk for about a quarter mile. Then it asked if I wanted to track it, which I did. After I got home and was sitting on the couch, I realized it still thought I was walking for more than 2 minutes. It took me 30 seconds to figure out how to turn the timer off.

Real Life Jogging Hello! I'm looking for a way to set the Apple Watch Fitness to auto-detect when I'm walking and then eventually start running and then walk again and repeat, instantaneously. Is there such a feature or setting? I think that in real life you don't just run and then stop suddenly. I believe you still need to walk after running, and it's cumbersome to go to your watch just to end "Run" and start "Walk" or vice versa when you start your workout... most people walk first for a few minutes and then start to run and then walk. Or maybe it's just me :-D
