I am unable to open kindle on my iPad which I could do without problem early today. Is this a problem with Amazon or my iPad?

If you delete and reinstall the app you lose all your books ( I have hundreds). I tried rebooting the IPad but it doesn’t fix the problem.
Just to make sure, have you removed and re-installed the app?
Take out the above “I’m in”. I’m definitely not in.
I have Kindle app but only added books from AMZN, so when I delete the app or reinstall iOS and the app, everything always came back on. Don't know any beyond that.
I just opened the Kindle app on my iPad Pro 11 (2018) and was able to open a book as well. My Kindle app is version 6.4.3.
