You have to set it up again if you removed it.

It is been working just fine since Christmas, so it was set up correctly. The other day, I couldn’t connect to it, but Siri would respond when I said, “Hey Siri.” When I couldn’t get it to connect, I removed it, thinking I could just reconnect. Now the HomePod will not connect to my Home app.
I just figured out how to do that. Thanking foe taking the time to reply. I appreciate it.
