Social media apps not working

Hi there,

not sure if it’s to do with recent updates IOS, but non of the social media apps( Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp’ etc) are not working when I’m on my WiFi.I have reset our router contact Virgin Media but they saying that’s not their issue. I have also reset the network settings but no luck. Any ideas why this is happening?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with your social media apps on your iPhone. We'd like to help.


Does this happen only when you're on your home Wi-Fi or are other Wi-Fi networks involved as well? Do you see an error message when you try to open these apps? Do you Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If you are, checking to see if there are any app restrictions set would be a good step.
