Moving all apps onto one page

Got a new iPhone. Deleting old apps. Now each page has big gaps. How do I tighten it up so each page has the full amount of apps on each page?

iPhone 12, iOS 14

You have to do it manually.

Tap and Hold the app you want to move from one page to another. After a while, a context menu appears with "Remove App", "Share App", and "Edit Home Screen". Tap Edit Home screen. Now all the App icons start to wiggle. Depending on the App, not all options might appear in the context menu. Depending on the version of iOS and/or if you move your finger a bit, the apps might start to wiggle without a context menu.

Grab the wiggling App and move it to the page you want to "fill up" with apps by just moving it in the direction of the page. Drop it on the page you want to drop it.

Continue with the other apps. If you empty the right most page, it will essentially disappear. If you empty a page in between two pages with apps on it, the page will be just stay as a blank page, so you have to work your way from left to right, unless you want to end up with empty pages. If you're done moving apps, press the home button or swipe up, depending on your iPhone model.

Advanced tip: if you want to move more than one app at a time, grab one App. Then use your other hand to tap other Apps you want to move simultaneously. Those Apps end up in a stack under your finger and you can all move them at once. You can see the number of Apps in your "stack" in a blue circle right next to the stack.
