Lossless Songs End Early With Loud Static Hiss

Not always, but for some songs I’m listening to the suddenly end with a loud static hiss, Music then starts the next track.

Replaying the song is fine the second time.

Also occasionally songs will just stop midway through a track. Pressing play starts fine.

I have lossless turned on.

I’m connected to WiFi.

This has happened on my 12 Pro with AirPods Pro

iPhone 12 Pro

Hello Jarvichi,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We understand from your post that your music stops sometimes and there is a loud hiss at the end of the songs at times. Does this happen if you turn lossless off? If so, start with restarting your iPhone and making sure the software is updated.

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Does this happen with music you have downloaded from Apple Music or music you synced from CDs from your computer?

Best Regards.
