Apple Maps >> MacBook Air (M1, 2020) >> OSX 11.4 >> Cannot remove dropped pin

Steps to replicate:

1 - Select dropped pin in Apple Maps on laptop version of app.

2 - Control-click to bring up popup options menu. Alternatively, select the ellipse icon at U/R to accomplish the same.

3 - No option exists in either popup menu or top bar Edit menu drop-down to Remove or Delete Pin or Marker.

4 - Apple Support question online nevertheless advises using Remove Pin or Remove Marker in either the drop-down or popup menu selections.

5 - Selecting Pin and pressing either backspace or Del keys do not remove Pin.

6 - Attempting to drag Pin to Trash does not work.
