iPad screen frozen???

iPad 12 can be locked and unlocked using the passcode on the screen but is stuck in my photos and when unlocked, nothing happens when I tap the screen. Resetting it doesn’t seem to work - it just goes black and no apple logo shows up, just seems to be locked cause it lights right back up again

pls help!!!!

Try a forced restart and see if that allows the screen to respond. There is no iPad 12, so here are instructions for any model of iPad. I assume that you have an iPad Pro, but just in case, pick which method works with your iPad.

iPad models that don't have a Home button: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Power button until the device restarts.
iPad with Home button, iPhone 6s or earlier, and iPod touch (6th generation) or earlier: Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons until you see the Apple logo.
