Adding AOL for my girlfriend's separate login on my iMac

Why is AOL not being verified as a email provider on my iMac?

We are entering the correct information but it states that it has not been authenticated.

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 11.4

I can not sign on to my AOL Email account.Can anybody help? How do I sign on to AOL email on my iMac?

I cannot add an AOL account to my Apple Mail. It continues to say Unable to verify account name or password. This is my MacBook Pro. The AOL account is on my iMac and also on my iPad. I can sign into my email on aol.com with no problem.
