My Apple Music icon disappeared

We see you're looking for help with locating your Music app on the iPad, and we'd like to provide some help.

First, try searching for Apple Music in the App Store's Search box. If it says 'Open' this will indicate that it's still on the device. However, if you see the download button, go ahead and download it back to the device. Info on that process here: Redownload apps and games from Apple

If it's on the device still, it may have been inadvertently moved onto another page on the Home Screen, or it may be in a folder. This page can help with that: Move and organize apps on iPad

If all else fails, you may follow the steps in the "Reset the Home Screen and apps to their original layout" of the above link. As the page will note, "Any folders you’ve created are removed, and apps you’ve downloaded are alphabetically ordered after apps that came with your iPad."
