iPhone Upgrade
Just wondering if anyone has an educated guess as to how much longer the iPhone 7 will still get security and software updates. I am being overloaded with offers from my carrier and others to upgrade.

Impossible to answer conclusively since Apple does not reveal these things.
However, consider the iPhone 6s released in 2014, is still getting iOS 15 this fall like the iPhone 7. That is effectively 7 years of updates for the iPhone 6s. So the iPhone 7 will likely get updates still for 1 or 2 more years.
Do note however, that not getting an update does not mean the iPhone stops working or cannot be used anymore. And Apple has continued to issue security updates for older devices that cannot update beyond iOS 12. So there will likely still be updates fro the iPhone 7 for a few more years to come even if it does not get the iOS updates beyond 15 or 16.
