It sounds like you're having some issues using AirDrop on your MacBook Pro. We'd be glad to help you out.

Can you tell us what the exact issue is? Is the Mac not detectable, or is it unable to see any other devices?
Do you happen to have any third-party networking software installed, such as a VPN? If so, are you able to disable this or uninstall it temporarily to test and see if it works?
You'll also need to make sure that all devices have Personal Hotspot disabled and are in Bluetooth range of each other, and are awake.

The following should be checked as well:
- Make sure AirDrop is set to "Everyone"
- Restart any involved devices and try again
