Brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max will not connect to WiFi. How can this be resolved?

How can I connect new iPhone 12 Pro Max to WiFi? Never had this problem before now. I have reset the WiFi router, reset the iPhone twice and also turned it off and on several times.
