iPhone isn't working after falling into water

My iPhone has a cracked screen and fell in water. It switched off and is no longer working. can it be fixed?

Initiate a repair ticket using the link in the upper right corner of this page to begin the process; Apple needs to examine it to see if it can be fixed.
