trying to use airplay. between iphone and ipad airdrop works but neither screen sharing or airplay. They are both on ios 14.6, same WLAN, no filters active, restarted router and devices. I can see an appleTV of a neighbor that is not in the same WLAN though. Any idea would is wrong? I use a fritzbox router.
In essence, why is my ipad not visible in airplay or screen sharing when searching for it on my iphone?

ah, that explains it but it is really a pity that it doesn't work... Would be a great feature.
iphones, ipod touch and ipads have never been able to airplay audio or mirror to eachother
nor to macs but that will change with the next macOS version I read
airplay and screen sharing between ipad and iphone
