I have an iPhone SE 2020 and an iPhone 8 running iSO 14.6 and an Apple Watch 6 running watchOS 7.5
All devices are on the same Apple ID
I had been using my watch with my iPhone SE and the Fitness app was working as expected. I have now chided to using my watch with my iPhone 8. The iPhone 8 will not install the Fitness app although it is in my purchased apps on my Apple ID and now shows the icon ready to install.
Please assist.

Which iPhone is the Apple Watch currently paired with? Have you already completed pairing with the iPhone8?

If that is all done, have you restarted both devices?
Hi. The watch is paired with the iPhone 8 and yes I have restarted both devices but the Fitness app will not install.
Hi. I have tried that as well and no luck. With the app on the home screen showing that it can be installed I can not even delete the app, only edit the Home Screen.
Any other suggestions?

Unpair and re-pair and setup as new,not from a backup.
Try reinstalling it from the app store.
