Watch stuck in pairing

I got new iPhone 11 and I'm trying to pair my watch. It keeps getting stuck at watch basics. How do I finish the pairing?

My new watch is not pairing with iphone. It keeps pairing aftter update then unpairs I just got my Watch 8 series. It is not pairing with my iphone 12. I get to the watch has update. Then it appears to pair but instead unpairs and having to start over again & keeps doing the same thing?
