Hello. I recently added new thermal paste to my MacBook Air 2017. When reinstalling, everything worked fine except the fan didn’t work. It was at 0rpm. I can hear a noise from the fan. Is this a loose connection or is there something wrong with the fan?

Try to check your MacBook Air fan with Apple Diagnostics if it reports fan related error(PPF001, PPF003, PPF004).

Hello. I did the Apple Diagnostics test and it gave me an error of PPF004. It also gave me an error of PMF004 which says the SMC has problems. I also noticed today that the sound is not working and the MacBook Air isn’t charging. What should I do now? I have AppleCare, will it cover these problems?
