Icloud only backing up photos back to Feb 2021
Icloud is only backing up photos dating back to Feb 2021. I have photos on my phone going back to 2014. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Hi BennyGG,
Thanks for reaching out using Apple Support Communities. Here to help.
We understand you are having trouble getting all of your Photos uploaded to iCloud.
A few thoughts we had that could impact your Photos from syncing with iCloud Photos.
Are some of your Photos synced from a computer? Photos like this are treated as a separate library and are not merged with iCloud Photos unless some preferences are changed. You can review this next set of resources for Mac or PC. For these Photos to be included in iCloud, you would want to disable syncing from the computer and add those Photos to iCloud another way.
Sync your photos manually using the Finder
Sync photos in iTunes on PC with devices
Another thought is to ensure you have enough iCloud Storage available as well as storage available on your iPhone. You can review the section of this next article titled 'Make sure that you have enough storage.' as well as the next article differentiating iCloud and device storage and how to check each.
What's the difference between device storage and iCloud storage?
If storage limitations are impacting your ability to upload Photos to iCloud, a status message will alert you to this within the Photos app. "On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, open the Photos app, go to the Library tab, and tap All Photos. Then scroll to the bottom of your screen."
Let us know if you've used a computer to sync Photos, and if so what kind of computer, so we can suggest additional steps on getting those Photos merged with iCloud.
Hope this helps! Take care for now
