Is the missing ability of Tidal connect a thing of AppleTV -OS or Tidal app on AppleTV ?

As far as I understand the Connect feature, it wouldn’t make much sense on Apple TV, neither for sending or receiving.
Of course it makes a lot of sense. With Tidal connect you can use the tidal app on AppleTV (the hardware) as player of Tidal streams , while selecting the music on tidal app at iPhone or iPad. So the stream is not going through iPad or iPhone and airplay , but directly from Tidal app on AppleTV even if you "play" on iPhone or iPad. Bluesound units e.g. can do that. Saves a lot of battery capacity.
